What’s in my bag …

It’s incredible how technology allows us to create images in such a fast and instant way. I was 15 when I got my first camera Canon A-1 (Film, yes I feel a little old). Even though I still own some film equipment (I guess you can call me nostalgic) I also keep up with new technology. When I shoot day in the life sessions the drone MAVIC 2 allows me to give a different perspective on space that the client will never experience. For everyday cameras on ground I shoot with SONY A7III and SONY A9. These mirrorles cameras are changing the game in photography. Their size, fast focusing and eye detector pushes me to try new ways of shooting. Last but not least I have a small underwater kit. Living in south Florida water is such a big part of people’s life. \

I decided last year that I had to me able to create images underwater. For those I use a Sony RX100IV with a case SonyMPK-URX100A . I cannot live in Miami and not document water. The idea of cooling on the water or the salt of the ocean in their hair. I am so grateful for all these tools that help me tell stories,Here are few images from a DITL showcasing all the gear in pictures.

However it’s important to say that the best camera is the one that is in your hands. Even if that is your phone, or a pocket camera. Technology will keep improving and making us go “Wow” but there are so many other aspects of a pictures when it comes to creating an image. Dont wait to have your dream gear, dont get in debt because those will not make your pictures better. They will facilitate the process. But the magic its in you, in the light, in the composition and the moment.
