Children wake up with excitement, nervousness, and a determination to make their birthday one for the books! From opening presents from loved ones in front of friends and family at breakfast time -to- blowing out candles on an oversized cake that is decorated as something special just for them.
Vinzo’s party was about to get wilder. His adorable, smart and witty cousin had other plans when Vinzo got a cake from Piononos, his favorite bakery in town. It wasn’t just any birthday either – it might have been one of the craziest birthdays he has ever seen so far!

We are also planning to shoot a portrait of each kid at the party, and by the time that they have to leave we will have the images printed in polaroids on the outside of the goodie bags. We can do this thanks to the Fujifilm Instax SP-3 Mobile Printer. We love that little printer. Everything I travel to Haiti I love giving prints to the children right away. We live in a society where our pictures are usually living on phones or hard drives. I am a huge fan of printing, I till remember as a kid sitting with my parents big box of old photos and learning every family member.
