Photographing birth is a rare opportunity to experience the most raw, and beautiful emotions in the world. I had never anticipated how amazing it could be to witness such an intimate moment of life.
I remember the first time I photographed a birth. My eyes were wide open in amazement and my heart was racing as I watched this little baby come into the world. It was such an emotional experience for me that I knew right then and there that photographing births would be what I wanted to do with my life. Birth photography is not only about documenting a moment, it’s about creating something beautiful from something so raw and powerful!
